I love to teach, inspire, and bring people closer to Jesus.

I teach to enable women to stand in hope, fight with faith, and pray with power.  And I’m not afraid of being transparent and vulnerable because I understand the battles of weariness and discouragement. Through truth, humor, and insight I exhort the church to faithfully follow Jesus, love our families, and build the Kingdom.

Two audiences have my heart.

First, women who have lost hope.
Life can be difficult and when circumstances overwhelm us it is easy to lose hope and blame the Lord. I point women back to the Lord to see and know Him in new ways to regain hope and faith, regardless of situations.

Second, young moms.
Because I remember the challenges of that time, young moms have my heart. I’m convinced there is no more important or difficult job. I love to discuss motherhood, parenting, homeschooling, or any other topic that encourages moms to keep up the good fight!

Look Up: Hope, Faith, and Vision

When hope sags and vision fades, discouragement can rule our hearts. But Jesus calls, “Look up! Have hope! I’m here.” But challenges arise when we can’t see Him. What’s our next step? How do we not despair? Where do we go next?

What we need is a new prescription and new glasses to see correctly that we might hope extravagantly. These sessions inspire and teach women how to do just that.

Praying For Our Kids (No Matter their age!)

We all know we should pray for our kids, but what exactly do we pray and how do we effectively go about it? Whether in one session or over a series of teachings, I answer the why, how, and what of prayer. Praying for our kids is the most powerful spiritual activity we can participate in. Your prayer life will never be the same after these sessions.

parenthood, family, and homeschooling

From parenting seven children, to homeschooling for twenty-seven years, to moving twelve time, I’ve experienced success and failures, trials and triumphs, tears and laughter, struggling and thriving. And through all that life and love, I’ve learned many lessons (most the hard way) that I adore sharing with other moms.

I enjoy speaking at MOPs groups, homeschool gatherings, and anywhere else precious Mamas get together and need encouragement. The holy work of parenting is a long climb up a steep hill into a stiff headwind. We need encouragement along the way, as well as practical tips and exhortation. I’d love to speak to your group.

The second half calling

The empty nest stage can be a drastic change. What is our mission when our kids are gone? I believe that we are a might regiment in the Lord’s army that have vital calls to fulfill in the second half of our lives. Just think of the effect we could have! These session include both inspiration to listen for the call and practical help to walk it out.
